About the Founder

Imani Johnson-Jordan is a visionary brand strategist, creative executive, and award-winning communications leader. As CEO of Kensington Brands, she leads a portfolio of creative ventures designed to empower brands, elevate stories, and build equity through commerce and community. In February 2025, Imani left her corporate career after the birth of her son, Jaxson, to pursue full-time entrepreneurship. She has previously worked for leading organizations including WPP, Omnicom, Odyssey Media, and Rutgers University, where she led strategic communications, DEI initiatives, and branding campaigns across various sectors.
With over a decade of experience launching brands, shaping narratives, and leading DEI campaigns, she has helped startups, institutions, and legacy companies clarify their idenities and connect with their audiences.

Alongside her husband and business partner, D’Andre, she expanded her agency to launch Maven Haven—an innovative mobile content studio—in July 2025. Under her leadership, Maven Market (a subsidiary of Kensington Brands) continues to scale with signature services, strategic storytelling, and strong client partnerships.
